OUR PYJAMAS for our hair combing ceremony!!

Why did I detect a hint of big "CHEH" from the crowd, other then pyjamas, what can you wear to slp then????

As our date is nearing, I know there's isnt much time to take my own sweet time to find unique pyjamas... so here's the easy available ones i found at ang mo kio.... yay one more item down!!! but i must admit i do like the pyjamas lol....


Woodblock's pyjamas from NTUC! Not bad right?

I seriously thought it looks pretty fashionable. Initially woodblock was still grumbling when he saw what i bought for him. but after he put on, he told me sheepishly that he thinks that it looks good on him and he say he looks like the model in the picture of the packaging...... I was like ^%^%$^$ (interpretation: eh which part of him looks like the model???)


For me, I opted for the sweetie pie style cos you dont expect me to wear until too sexy in nightgown while letting my parents help me comb my hair right! (note the top looks big becos it is free size.... )

But i simply luv the details of my nightgown and let me tell you why.....


On the front there is nice translucent vintage laces

To ad on to the details, there are silky sweet pink ribbons interwining with the laces!!!!

even the pockets have a top vintage translucent lace man!!

Overview of top which is a pity that the details couldn't be capture clearly(ops it is crumbled becos i have yet wash and iron it)


Even the edge of my pyjamas pants have sweet little frills

The best thing was that i actually found a perfect slippers to match it!!! love the vintage flora print and lace.

Please note that the selection of photos was done in a VERY SYSTEMATIC way base not just on aesthetic solely as woodblock and me wanted a variety of pics shots and sceneries. If not trust me, most of the pics will come from aisna lunar bar instead lol.

But i think the photo which surprise me the most will be at neil road and the rail way station. The pics capture looks like the in between of fall and winter => i think steven is really LIHAI to capture that particular tree! as for the railway => well for a rare 3 mins shoot and then run for your life from the railway master is no joke and prolly something. So let's applaud for the photoshoot crew dat day => becos no glimpse of KA CHIONG-ness was being capture despite my heart must be screaming: "OH NO!" like a zillion times.

I know I know everyone is anxious for the big day especially for the guys too, so in order to help your groom to be (gtb) prep for the special day, I specially crafted out and took pains to take some JUICY photos for their VIEWING PLEASURE muahaha, so here's presenting

VITORIA'S SECRETS

Eh why did i hear sounds of disappointment for grooms to be and sniggering laughter from brides to be. Oh no OH no, you got me wrong, what I meant is the secret wardrobe for the groom, woodblock. I hope we hadn't forgotten his real name -VITOR (sexy name right lol)

As promise that I be showcasing woodblock's wardrobe while we get him ready for the photoshoot. Other then the mandarin suit, beige suit etc that will be lend out to woodblock fomr the bridal shop, we heeded kingsly advice to prep woodblock up as he is very honest that bliss bridal doesn't provide much for the guys.

So we bought:

1) 1 black shirt

2) 1 white shirt

3) 1 stylish burberry print inspired tie (in words it's not burberry lah lol)

4) 1 stylish fashionable thin tie (for ribbon ties)
5) 1 blazer

in addition to top things up leftover from the rom we have

6) 1 Double layer design vest

7) 1 Silver pants

So here are the pics of all the items individually:

1) Black Shirt

Love the fabric texture on the chest of the black shirt

2) White Shirt

For both shirts, we were advice to get some design prints as these will be the expose part of the shirt while the blazer, vest etc is being put on. so groom to be, pls take note that when you buy shirts don't spend too much on shirts whereby the design are on the shoulders etc if possible to optimise your dollars.

3) Burberry print inspired tie

This tie caught both me and woodblock's eye immediately when w saw it not because of the burberry print nor just the cool black and white colour combination. Actually it is not well captured by the camera but there are silver threading details in this particular tie which makes it glimmer and very outstanding on its own!!!

4) Fashionable thin tie

These days, if you notice that other then the usual cravats or coloured ties, I notice guys are also tying ribbon knots which makes it look kinda victorian (appeals greatly to me since i love vintage inspire apparels)

5) Blazer

This blazer is the one that I mentioned that Guoliang wore during Michelle Chia's wedding. The interesting thing is that the pocket can either be covered up or tuck in as shown in the pic above. The shimmery texture makes it looks grand too i must say.

and the clothes used previously in ROM which I am not going to let it go to waste

6) Double layer design vest

The combination or permutation from all these apparels are numerous and it is definitely not going to be easy to humour our supermodel Vitoria here to change so many times =(

BUT

Since I say this is gonna be some kind of VITORIA's SECRT fashion parade(VSFP) i shall do it manually without woodblock ops i mean Vitoria's help.

The black shirt base is really suitable for dark venues like Asian Lunar Bar and notice how the black checkered tie gives a fushion of vintage and yet fashion forward statement. (ok i just adore the tie too much)

This outfit is going to make Vitoria look kinda cute with the ribbon tie and I thought he suits it quite well. (how come i have this feeling that i am describing him like some kind of pet puppy?)

Now the white base is bright and refreshing esp when we want to take the pics at Grand Shanghai.

(Warning the blazers pocket are assymetric so that you can look at both different looks at the same time not becos of technical error by Princess Christine)

Somehow the tie doesn't goes that well with the suit i think so this look it out =(

But for second walk in i think woodblock can stick to the mandarin blazer or something depends on what he likes of cos (which is actually heavily dependent on what i like muahahaha)=)

Oh dear now that he have so many permutation look, i think we will be spoilt for choices when the beige suit, black mandarin suit and the black tailored pants comes in =(

Finally something to drool about - all the above has been proudly sponsored my Princess Christine to woodblock as I was thinking that since he paid for my gowns etc, this is the very least I can do for him=)

Now you know why he loves me to the core - he loves free sponsorship lol

Ok for now we will be looking for a stylo milo ring + shoes for woodblock
