* Please pardon me as i am using photobucket for uploading pics for the first time. For those partial photos, you will need to click on the pic to view full image as i realise my blog space is too small for showcasing it.
It wasnt an easy preparation for the shoot as woodblock and me practically wander off (by public transport and mainly foot)to recce "vintage" places for the photoshoot.
First Stop: Seletar Air Base
Where: TOTALLY NO IDEA becos we really got super lost around the vicinity. The weathe was hot and imagine walking a road and not knowing where u are heading is a BIG TORTURE =(
This is the only sole pic i took while we were lost. This house is very cute and has those English cottage feel to it so couldnt resist and took a snap for it.
As soon we manage to hope on to some air con bus, we quickly proceed to our second destination!
Stop 2(actually can be consider as stop 1): Ann Siang Street
Where: Near Chinatown MRT Station.
Once we step foot at Ann Siang Street, the first thing I did was to marvel at what the hell is this crazy gorgeous place??? The whole street seems to be like a very different singapore that I know of. The street was serene despite it was on a Saturday. No wonder many couples came down here for bridal shoot.
Love the vibrancy of Red buildings, always seems to stand out so much.
OOoo Love this vry spot => doesnt this look like those settings we always see models posing with??
Another gem find, I finally know where exactly is the Screening Room. Been wanting to visit there since like mabbe a yr plus ago but was worried it might be in some secluded area which is hard to visit.
I wonder what's those weird graffitti about?
Another good spot for posing with the signboards and vintage street lamp. The whole settings is enhance by the dipilated rich blue wall behind
For those who are into spiral staircase.....
Or artistic nature shots with trees and vines against those grey granite red brick walls
Or a fanatic fan for vintage door grills + oriental brick windows
Oh we actually have an in house "SADAKO well" in singapore too so dont waste money going Japan to find the well. Sadly the well is caged, so meaning it's hard for someone to fall in to become our in house "SADAKO" as a newly added tourist attraction.
Yes another gorgeous red building
The rose printed tiles are so romantic!
Some unique tilings
how about dining for 2 along the vintage street settings?
I saw a bride taking photo with this red window frame =) but i think the bride need to sit exactly in front of those stickers to cover them up!
Third Stop: Neil Road
Where: Near Outram Park MRT Station
Before I even stepped foot into Neil Road, I pass by this building which is so OLD SKOOL , no no no not as in the style but LITERALLY OLD SKOOL *chuckle*
But this wasnt the only thing i was amuse at becos I found something even more interesitng as I walk on

The peranankan house own by NUS
If you are chosing this background, ur PG better be good cos it seems like a make or break photo.
Either super stylish pic with bride being enhanced by the abandon vintage building or it is a pic with horrified bride in front of a haunted house.
OR WORSE: a smiling creepy bride who looks like she is part of the haunted house EEEEEKKKK!
This house is so puurfect to take with a vintage gown! So beautiful and clean with the nice cream colours.
Famous site for peranakan tilings etc Somehow i feel that the owners shoud move the plants away, I keep getting tangle with the potted plants along the whole street.
Ok That's all for the adventures and pic review of the 2 places =) HOpe it helps!
Wedding blog to share interesting ideas I have found.
